Congregation M'kor Shalom Project

GGH hired to manage significant repair/replacement project for Cherry Hill, NJ synagogue.

In early 2011, Congregation M’kor Shalom – a leading Reform Jewish synagogue based in Cherry Hill, NJ – kicked off its capital improvement initiative, "Repair Our House, Restore Our Home." The congregation's 24 year-old building was due for critical repair including 10 large heat pumps, several expansion tanks, loop piping throughout the building, and 30 PTAC window units.

While the congregation launched its fundraising efforts – successfully encouraging congregants to step up and provide the necessary funding – synagogue leadership brought in GGH Construction to work the project.

GGH developed a comprehensive attack plan, finding numerous opportunities for cost savings and efficient project execution. As a result, the project kicked off ahead of schedule and the synagogue was pleased to report recent progress to its congregants.
